About Dana Barksdale

Dana Barksdale is a Georgia native, born and raised just east of Atlanta. She attended the University of Georgia, earning a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, followed by a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. After nearly a decade in the classroom serving underprivileged populations and several years as a Transaction Coordinator, Dana brings a distinctive blend of market knowledge, process expertise, and client-focused communication to every transaction. She is well prepared to navigate challenges with professionalism and tact while protecting her clients’ best interests from start to finish.

With deep roots in the Atlanta area, three children of her own, and a longstanding interest in the dynamics that shape local communities, Dana is especially skilled at helping buyers identify homes that align with both their lifestyle and long-term goals. She understands that buying or selling a home can feel overwhelming, and she is committed to breaking the process into clear, manageable steps—ensuring her clients feel informed, empowered, and supported at every stage.

Whether working with first-time homebuyers, seasoned investors, or clients exploring luxury properties, Dana’s approach is grounded in attentiveness, transparency, and a genuine desire to treat every client like family. She currently resides in Suwanee, Georgia, with her husband, daughters, and a lively collection of pets. In her spare time, Dana enjoys tackling home projects, hiking North Georgia trails, engaging in community activities, reading a good book, or escaping to her home on Fripp Island in the South Carolina Lowcountry.
